Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed 1 lb
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425° F.
  • Mix asparagus, garlic, oil, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  • Place asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until tender.

Notes

Sprinkle lemon juice over the asparagus stalks after baking for a zesty finish.
