Sautéed Bok Choy


Sautéed Bok Choy
Delectable sautéed vegetable dish that is easy to prepare. Bok choy is a type of Chinese cabbage that is also referred to as bok choi or pak choi. Can be served as a main or side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch bok choy of any variety, trimmed and halved typically 1 1/2 lbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp peanut or sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Heat oil in a wok or large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger. Cook for 30 seconds.
- Add bok choy in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, mix well, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until bok choy are tender. Turn occasionally.
- Remove from heat and serve hot as a main or side dish.
Notes
Include red chili flakes for an added kick.
Add tofu or seitan for a protein-packed punch.
