Vegan Biscuits
Soft, fluffy biscuits are a perfect complement to mashed potatoes and/or other holiday classics. Smother with gravy and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup vegan butter, melted
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3 tsp baking powder
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, butter, milk, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Spread the remaining flour over a clean surface. Take the dough mixture from the bowl and knead over the floured surface until dough is no longer sticky. Add more flour if needed.
- Create 8 rolls out of the dough manually or with a biscuit cutter and place on baking sheet.
- Bake rolls in the oven until they turn golden brown (approximately 10-15 minutes).
- Smother with gravy and/or brush with butter and serve alongside holiday classics such as mashed potatoes.
